AT LEAST 19 PEOPLE HOSPITALIZED AFTER BUS AND FIRE TRUCK COLLIDE

WASHINGTON, AUGUST 18 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ – At least 19 people were hospitalized after a bus and a fire truck collided in the Bronx borough of New York City, the New York City Fire Department announced.

"Emergency medical services transported five firefighters and 14 civilians to nearby hospitals," the department said.

Doctors at the scene also examined three other people who declined hospital treatment. The severity of the injuries among those hospitalized is not yet known.
