MOSCOW, AUGUST 20 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - The Russian Ministry of Interior has placed Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung journalist Michael Martens on its wanted list over a question concerning the killing of Russians, according to data from the Ministry's database.
"Reason for being placed on the wanted list: violation of the Criminal Code," Martens' entry in the wanted persons database states.
At a joint press conference held by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić in Belgrade on August 8, Martens asked what European countries could do to help kill more Russians.
Moscow responded that calls for the extermination of people based on their ethnicity are unacceptable and punishable.
