MOSCOW, AUGUST 12 /SRNA/ - Almost half of the surveyed Russians, 45 percent of them, are considering using exclusively smart devices with the "Android" operating system in the future due to the policy of the "Apple" company towards Russia, a survey by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center has shown.
The report published on the center's website states that users of "Apple" devices are more affected by these restrictions than "Android" users.
Specifically, 69 percent of "Apple" users have been personally affected by the restrictions, compared to 37 percent of "Android" users.
Experts note that the consequences of removing Russian applications from the "App Store" could affect not only the current user experience, but also the future of "Apple's" ecosystem in Russia.
Every second Russian smartphone user /50 percent/ now lacks trust in "Apple" due to the removal of Russian applications.
In addition, 51 percent of surveyed smartphone users stated that they would likely not consider purchasing an "iPhone" in the future due to limited access to certain Russian applications.
