UKRAINIAN-POLISH DOUBLES TEAM WINS MEN'S DOUBLES AT THE 18th ITF "PRIJEDOR 2025" TOURNAMENT

PRIJEDOR, MAY 17 /SRNA/ - The Ukrainian-Polish doubles team, Vyacheslav Bielinsky and Jaža Šajrih, is the winner of the men’s doubles final at the tennis memorial "Dr Mladen Stojanović," also known as the 18th ITF tournament "Prijedor Open 2025."

In today’s final match, they defeated the Indian-Italian doubles team - Aryan Lakshmanan and Gabriele Maria Noce - in straight sets, 2:0 /6:4, 6:3/.

The tournament, sponsored by the city of Prijedor, this year gathered more than 80 tennis players from 25 countries, from Japan and India, through Morocco and America, all the way to countries in Africa and Europe, thus living up to its reputation as a major international sporting event in the city.

The final match of the men’s singles is set for 11:00 tomorrow, featuring Vyacheslav Bielinskyi from Ukraine and Belgian Jack Loge.

Acting Head of the City Department for Culture, International Cooperation, Sports, and NGOs, Aleksandar Milješić, who presented the trophies to the doubles winners this evening, invited fellow citizens to come to the courts of the Tennis Club "Dr Mladen Stojanović" and watch the final match between the tournament’s first and fifth seeds.

The winner will receive a cash prize and 15 ATP ranking points.
