ZVORNIK, APRIL 24 /SRNA/ - Dušan Rajović from Serbia is the winner of the second stage of the 19th International "Belgrade-Banja Luka" cycling race, which took place today from Obrenovac to Zvornik.
Second place went to Polish cyclist Patrik Stoś from the "Voster ATS" team, while third place was claimed by Mihajlo Stolić from Serbia, who rides for the Hungarian team "United Shipping" from Budapest.
Rajović expressed satisfaction with being the winner of this stage on home turf and pointed out that the changing weather conditions during the race, from rain to sunshine, made the ride more difficult.
"The stage is about 170 kilometers, quite long," Rajović told reporters.
He reminded that he had fallen on the 45th kilometer during the first stage of the race yesterday and injured himself, but fortunately, everything turned out fine.
Stolić said that the stage was flat but the longest in this race.
"During the race, I preserved myself as much as possible for the final laps in Zvornik, then I went for the sprint and in the end, I reached third place," said Stolić.
Stolić expressed satisfaction with the third-place finish and added that he will continue to fight for the best possible ranking in the remainder of the race.
