BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 30 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik emphasized that Petar Kočić taught the Serbs that whenever they made the history of their people and homeland in unity, it was glorious and victorious.

Dodik stated that this evening’s gathering of a large number of people in Stričići on Mount Manjača, at the 60th anniversary of the “Kočić’s Assembly,” best demonstrated Serbian unity.

"Patriots who love Serbian history gathered here this evening; they are dedicated to freedom, fighting for it and sacrificing their personal comfort for it," Dodik told reporters in Stričići.

As he noted, Petar Kočić did the same, enduring torture and sacrificing his personal comfort, which the people have never forgotten.

"Those who come here are not only people connected to Manjača, but also people connected to freedom, which is the sacred word of the Serbian people," Dodik emphasized.

In addition to a large number of citizens, the public celebration in Stričići on Manjača is attended by Republika Srpska Senator Aleksandar Vulin, who said he was proud to be on Manjača with President Dodik, the president of free Serbs.
