VUKELIĆ: WOMAN PREVENTED FROM JUMPING INTO RIVER

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA - Officers from the Obilićevo Police Station prevented a woman from jumping into the Vrbas River, Banja Luka Police Administration Chief Đurica Vukelić said.

Vukelić said that at around 3 p.m. yesterday, citizens reported a woman behaving strangely on the promenade along the Vrbas River, giving the impression that she wanted to jump into the river.

"Police officers prevented her from jumping, and she was then taken over by the Banja Luka emergency medical service to receive medical assistance," Vukelić told reporters in Banja Luka.

He stressed that police officers are always ready to respond to all security challenges and are always there to serve citizens.
