On the occasion of Vidovdan, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vučić presented today the Order of the Republic of Serbia on a Sash to the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković.

BELGRADE, JUNE 28 /SRNA/ - On the occasion of Vidovdan, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vučić presented today the Order of the Republic of Serbia on a Sash to the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković.

Višković was decorated for his exceptional merits in strengthening peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between Serbia and Republika Srpska.

At the awards ceremony held at the Palace of Serbia, a letter of appreciation was also presented to the Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro, Andrija Mandić, for his outstanding contribution to strengthening friendly relations between Montenegro and Serbia, and his dedication to preserving Serbian identity, culture, and tradition in Montenegro.

Among nearly 50 honorees were Vladan Petrov, professor at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, Patrik Drid, dean of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Novi Sad, and violinist Jovan Kolundžija.

In his speech before the ceremony, Vučić emphasized the deep symbolism of this day, stating that Vidovdan is not only a day of remembrance for suffering and heroism, but also a moment for asking essential questions about one's relationship with the homeland.
