BANJA LUKA, APRIL 5 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković said that the Republika Srpska rebalanced budget, once adopted, will be approximately BAM 600 million higher than the 2024 budget.
Speaking at a Government thematic session, Višković said that the 2025 budget, with the rebalance, which will need to be adopted due to the salary increases effective from April 1, will exceed the original budget by more than BAM 520 million.
"We have taken on the obligation to increase the income of pensioners and war veteran categories starting in August. This includes pensions and veteran allowances. Therefore, I estimate that the 2025 budget will be around BAM 600 million higher than the 2024 budget," Višković emphasized.
The 2025 Republika Srpska budget amounts to BAM 6.070 billion, which is BAM 260 million, or 4.5 percent, higher than the revised budget framework for the previous year.
