VILIMSKY CONGRATULATES DODIK ON ELECTION VICTORY

VIENNA, OCTOBER 6 /SRNA/ - Freedom Party of Austria /FPÖ/ MEP Harald Vilimsky congratulated President Milorad Dodik in a post on X on the SNSD’s victory in the BiH elections held on Sunday, October 4.

"Congratulations, dear friend," Vilimsky wrote in Serbian, adding in German that "in democracies, the people decide."

Vilimsky, who is also vice-president of the Patriots for Europe parliamentary group, has publicly condemned the international sanctions and pressure imposed on Dodik during the administration of former US President Joseph Biden, as well as those imposed by Christian Schmidt.

Their positions have coincided on issues of sovereignty, anti-globalist views, and support for US President Donald Trump and Hungarian Fidesz leader and former Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
