VIDOVIĆ: SRPSKA IS REGULARLY REPAYING ITS DEBT

BANJA LUKA, MAY 15 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Finance Minister Zora Vidović said today that in the first four months of this year, Republika Srpska borrowed BAM 352 million, and repaid BAM 549 million during the same period.

"Srpska repaid BAM 197 million more than it borrowed," Vidović said during the Q&A session in the National Assembly of Srpska.

She added that on April 30, the public debt of Republika Srpska stood at BAM 5.7 billion, while the total debt stood at BAM 6.5 billion, equivalent to 34 percent of the gross domestic product, compared to 36 percent at the end of last year.

"In the first four months of this year, the debt has also decreased in nominal terms," Vidović explained.
