TRIŠIĆ-BABIĆ: NEED FOR OFFICE EMERGED FROM EXPANDED INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 6 /SRNA/ - The Office for International Cooperation of Republika Srpska is the result of a real need that emerged due to the intensification of Srpska's foreign policy activities in the recent period, Acting Director Ana Trišić-Babić said in a statement to SRNA.

Trišić-Babić said it has become evident that there is a need for a single institution to unify and coordinate these activities and to be directly linked to the highest institutions of Srpska.

"The Office will be closely connected with the Office of the President of the Republic, the Government of Republika Srpska, the National Assembly, as well as representatives of local communities, which will ensure a unified and efficient approach at the international level," Trišić-Babić stated.

Given that this is a completely new institution, she added that certain administrative steps in its further establishment are currently being finalized.

She announced that the Office will employ qualified, professional, and dedicated staff who will contribute to its successful work.
