TRIŠIĆ-BABIĆ: BUDAPEST VISIT CONFIRMS SRPSKA STRONGER, CONTINUED COLLABORATION AFFIRMED

BUDAPEST, NOVEMBER 26 /SRNA/ – Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić Babić has stressed that today’s visit of the Republika Srpska delegation to Budapest confirmed that Republika Srpska has successfully emerged not only from an unusual but also a difficult situation imposed on the Srpska and the Serb people.

“Our visit confirmed to our hosts that we are even stronger and that Hungary continues to cooperate with us without any hesitation. They expressed admiration for how we in Republika Srpska and Banja Luka managed to overcome all obstacles imposed on us and emerged as winners,” Trišić Babić pointed out.

She told reporters that today’s meeting with the Prime Minister of Hungary covered issues related to the strategic partnership between Republika Srpska and Hungary, which she described as very important.

According to her, an even closer and more intensive cooperation has been agreed between Republika Srpska and Hungary, and between Banja Luka and Budapest, focusing on joint steps at the international level.

“Prime Minister Orban informed us about talks in Washington that are of interest to us, as well as to the entire Western Balkans and Europe. He explained in detail Washington’s position regarding the Western Balkans and upcoming developments in Europe and the EU,” Trišić Babić said.
