"The Ministry of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska is determined to cherish the memory of the victims of Jasenovac and Donja Gradina in the education system and institutions, as places that bear witness to one of the most terrible crimes in the history of mankind," explained Stojičić.

Stojičić stated that the goal is to preserve historical memory, nurture the culture of remembrance and develop the compassion of students in accordance with their age, through educational and symbolic activities that will help to ensure that the suffering of the Serb people is not forgotten.

She stated that the Ministry and the Republic Pedagogical Institute called on primary and secondary schools in Srpska to mark the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the Ustasa camp Jasenovac, April 22, with classes dedicated to this topic, exhibitions, screenings of documentary films, visits to places of remembrance or literary works and art workshops.
