BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 29 /SRNA/ - The Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly Nenad Stevandić said there were clearly motivating factors inciting terrorism, such as the threatening email sent to the National Assembly's registry office, and that they had to be discussed publicly.
Stevandić said he had personally received many threats, but that yesterday's email was drastic in its content.
"This was so drastic that I had to show it to the public. It calls for jihad, for raising funds for jihad, for the slaughter of Christians," Stevandić told reporters in Banja Luka.
He stressed that Republika Srpska's institutions cooperate fully with one another, and that Srpska is a highly organized community, which is one of its strengths and the reason it is safe.
Yesterday, a threatening message arrived by email at the registry office of the Republika Srpska National Assembly, calling for jihad and demanding the killing of all baptized people and the collection of money and weapons for the needs of the "Islamic Republic".
The message also contains a series of other unrelated demands, and its author presents himself as a member of "jihad in BiH".
