SRPSKA'S INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH GUARANTEES ITS STABILITY

ŠEKOVIĆI, SEPTEMBER 24 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik said that his visits, along with those of Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, are making a significant contribution to Republika Srpska’s international outreach, which he said is a guarantee of its stability, and announced that he would visit Chicago in November.

Dodik reminded that for decades, Srpska had been portrayed as something bad and unworthy, but that they had fought to change that image.

He said that they had explained Republika Srpska’s position to their friends in Israel and the Russian Federation, and that they now know about Republika Srpska.

“Ask Vladimir Putin - he knows about Republika Srpska. He may not know about some other countries, but he knows about Srpska. Everything in Israel was at the highest level, and that is an expression of gratitude for the brotherhood and support we provide to one another,” Dodik told reporters in Šekovići.

Dodik said that Cvijanović had announced that she would travel abroad again a month or a month and a half after the election, and that he would visit Chicago in November, where Republika Srpska helped complete the construction of a monastery.

“That will be an opportunity for me to meet with important people there and establish cooperation with the political communities and parties there,” Dodik said.

Dodik and Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić laid wreaths today in Šekovići at the monument to fallen soldiers and at the monument to Milorad Mišo Pelemiš, commander of the 10th Sabotage Detachment of the Republika Srpska Army.
