SRPSKA MARKS 170 YEARS SINCE BIRTH OF ONE OF THE GREATEST MINDS

BANJA LUKA, JULY 10 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska is celebrating the 170th anniversary of Nikola Tesla's birth, one of humanity's greatest minds, and in honor of this occasion, the Palace of the Republic will be illuminated tonight.

On the occasion of this great anniversary, the Office of the President of Republika Srpska said that Srpska is paying tribute to a man whose creativity changed the face of the world, while also reaffirming its commitment to the ideals to which Tesla devoted his entire life - knowledge, creativity, humanism and faith in the limitless potential of the human spirit.

It was emphasized that Nikola Tesla belongs to world science, but is at the same time one of the brightest figures of Serbian cultural and spiritual heritage.

The Office stated that there are people who belong to history and their nation, but that there are also those rare individuals to whom the future belongs.

"And perhaps that is precisely why his words sound more powerful today than ever before. Let the future tell the truth and let everyone be judged by their work and achievements. The present belongs to them, but the future, for which I have worked, belongs to me," says a press release.
