TERMINATION OF MANDATE BY CEC DECISION UNCONSTITUTIONAL, SRPSKA OBLIGED TO PROTECT CONSTITUTIONAL ORDER

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 21 /SRNA/ - The National Assembly of Republika Srpska will hold a special session tomorrow, with the proposed agenda including, among other things, consideration and adoption of a decision to call a referendum regarding the decisions of the Court of BiH and the Central Election Commission /CEC/ issued against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, as decided at the Collegium of the republic's parliament.

Also on the proposed agenda of tomorrow's parliamentary session are the adoption of the resignation of the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković, as well as information on the ruling of the Court of BiH and the decision of the CEC of BiH on the termination of the mandate of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, along with the position of the National Assembly on the future activities of the institutions of Republika Srpska.

At a telephone session, the Collegium decided to add to the proposed agenda a bill on amendments and supplements to the Law on Referendum and Civic Initiative, to be considered under urgent procedure.

The session is scheduled for 10:00, the Republika Srpska National Assembly announced.
