SINGER: SCHMIDT HAS NO LEGITIMACY AND THAT CREATES PROBLEMS

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 25 /SRNA/ – Ulrich Singer, a member of the Bavarian Parliament from the AfD party, stated that Christian Schmidt is not the High Representative because he lacks the approval of the UN Security Council, emphasizing that Schmidt’s lack of proper legitimacy creates numerous problems.

"Schmidt is here without a proper UN Security Council decision, since China and Russia vetoed his appointment to BiH. He governs by decree, not through dialogue," Singer said.

He stressed that Schmidt should respect the political representatives elected by the people in democratic elections.

"As a German, I wouldn’t want a foreigner governing my country. I support sovereignty," Singer said.

He pointed out that Schmidt should be neutral and work on finding solutions that help preserve what is written in the Dayton Agreement.

"People tell me he’s not popular here and that they don’t like what he’s doing," Singer added.
