BANJA LUKA, APRIL 25 /SRNA/ - Serbs from the region give absolute support to Republika Srpska and its leadership in preserving institutions, it was stated at the 21st Conference of Serb national organisations from the countries of the region, which is being held in Banja Luka, whose participants stated that a great price has been paid for Republika Srpska, which today everyone must protect and fight for its survival.
The chairman of the Board of Directors of the Conference of Serb national organisations from the countries of the region, Momčilo Vuksanović, stated that the freedom of the Serb people was paid with blood, which is why it is important to support the institutions and leadership of Srpska in these moments.
"It was important to come to Banja Luka and support the institutions of Republika Srpska. We are at all times in solidarity with our brothers from Republika Srpska and Serbia," Vuksanović told the press in Banja Luka.
He said that the main goal of the Conference was the unity of the Serb people, reminding that the conference brought together organisations from Republika Srpska, the Federation of BiH, Romania, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Albania and Montenegro.
"We will make a Declaration within the framework of our activities. This is something that we can give as a contribution to this complex situation and the struggle of the institutions and leadership of Srpska to preserve what was created with blood in these areas," Vuksanović said.
The head of the Republika Srpska Creators Association Stevan Medić said that there was a need and duty to support the leadership of Republika Srpska and stated that, as 35 years ago, the unity of Serbs is required.
"Republika Srpska lacks it. We are here to send a appeal or request. No one has the right to betray Republika Srpska. No one can desecrate what we made with blood," stated Medić.
He says Srpska is still fighting for survival, noting the Association will contribute to its preservation and strengthening.
"We will pass on to our descendants that Republika Srpska is an oath. No one can trade with it. We must all defend Republika Srpska. Power and opposition cannot be divided in the defense of Republika Srpska. We ask that all political parties be united and committed to preserve Republika Srpska," said Medić.
The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and the Speaker of the National Assembly Nenad Stevandić will attend the conference in Banja Luka.
