THEY TREAT PROPONENTS OF WAR AS PEACEMAKERS AND THIS IS BROADCAST BY PUBLIC BROADCASTER

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 8 /SRNA/ – The Republika Srpska War Veterans Organisation /BORS/ stated that the criminal NATO bombing of Republika Srpska must not be forgotten and called on younger generations to preserve the legacy of the Defensive–Patriotic War.

BORS reminded that in September 1995, the Army of Republika Srpska stood alone against a superior enemy made up of Croatian-Muslim forces supported by NATO, but that Serb soldiers succeeded in preserving the freedom of the Serb people and Republika Srpska.

On the occasion of the Day of Remembrance for the victims of NATO aggression against Republika Srpska in 1994 and 1995, which will be marked tomorrow in East Sarajevo, BORS emphasized that this anniversary is an opportunity to remember the many Serb soldiers and civilians fallen in a criminal and unjustified act by the world’s most powerful military force.

BORS also noted that the killing continued even after the war, as many people, particularly from the area of the former Serb Sarajevo, became ill due to the effects of munitions made with depleted uranium used during the bombings.

Because of this, the actual number of Serb victims of the NATO bombing is difficult to determine.
