BIJELJINA, AUGUST 14 /SRNA/ – It is necessary for the Serb people to recognize the importance of this historic moment to protect Republika Srpska and, through a unified response, prevent attacks on its institutions and subsequently on its property, which would mean the end of the existence of Republika Srpska, said Bojan Savić, President of the SNSD City Board in Bijeljina, in a statement to SRNA.
"We are witnessing a similar scenario in Srpska and in Serbia, and those who support this way of undermining the institution of the President of Srpska are helping those who create chaos in Serbia," Savić stated.
He emphasized that all political, institutional, and social problems in BiH and Serbia have the same source – foreign interventionism.
"For almost three decades, instead of enabling the peoples of BiH to reach a free internal agreement, foreign powers, with the help of local Bosniak followers, have been imposing decisions, dismantling the constitutional order, and openly trampling on the will of the citizens.
Imposed solutions, unilateral decisions, and selective interpretations of the Dayton Agreement do not contribute to peace and stability, but rather deepen divisions, foster mistrust, and create a lasting political crisis in BiH – a crisis that Christian Schmidt and his allies obviously wish to perpetuate in order to justify their presence in these areas," Savić stressed.
He told SRNA that one of the direct results of such politics is the politically motivated judicial process against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, which represents nothing but an attempt to intimidate and weaken the institutions of Srpska.
"Such behavior by certain international actors, primarily the British and the Germans, is a direct attack on the sovereignty, independence, and dignity of BiH and all its constituent peoples – something that political representatives of the Bosniak people readily agree to for personal reasons and to fulfill their own interests," Savić pointed out.
This is also evident, he said, in the reporting of federal media, which enthusiastically welcome the persecution of Serb representatives, with the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, being their main topic.
He reminded that the Bosniaks have taken control of the entire judicial apparatus, which was formed in an unconstitutional manner and today serves only to persecute Serbs, with the message of these processes being very clear – "we will pass judgment on all of you: politicians, the people, and ultimately Republika Srpska itself."
"In the past period, there were attempts to criminalize the current government in Republika Srpska, with various unfounded stories being fabricated, but they failed to open any proceedings because there was no basis for them.
Their ideal opportunity was their guest from Sarajevo, Christian Schmidt, who, by imposing decisions and enacting his own so-called laws, tried to show that BiH will never become a normal country, but will always remain a colony in which either the British, the Germans, or some third party will be the ones who decide. All their efforts are in vain – the Serb people and Republika Srpska will never agree to this. For them, there is only the Dayton BiH and no other," Savić emphasized.
