BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 2 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik says that if Republika Srpska’s people preserve the stability they currently have, its political independence will also be built, as well as every form of inviolability that will guarantee a good life in the future.
"What we are doing is a small change in policy. We believe that we do not have to engage in any debates, conflicts or rhetoric. We are doing our job," Dodik told the press in Banja Luka.
He stressed that Bosniak politicians are competing over who can insult Republika Srpska more, and reiterated his view that BiH is a dead and country impossible that makes no sense and represents nothing more than an empty shell.
"Twenty years ago, when I was speaking with an important American, he told me: ‘You are completely right, but you cannot defeat 450 people who have built careers on lies about BiH. You have to wait for them to die or disappear from the political arena’. Slowly, that is happening; opening up. A new generation is coming that understands this," Dodik said.
He noted that the international context is changing significantly, but not enough to understand that everything was a bluff back in 1995, when an attempt was made to create a BiH that could not live on.
"BiH has never been more divided; it is meaningless. But that is how it is. So, one does not always do in life what suits one most, but sometimes what one has to do. Today, BiH is still something we have to deal with, nothing more," Dodik added.
