BANJA LUKA, August 12 /SRNA/ - President of the Republika Srpska Organization of Families of Captured, Fallen Soldiers and Missing Civilians Isidora Graorac said that Republika Srpska must be defended, which means fighting by legal and lawful means and raising one's voice at the referendum against the intent to occupy the people and Republika Srpska.

Graorac stressed that what is happening now represents an assault on Republika Srpska and on the institution of its President.

"We must not allow others to shape our lives and change the will of the people expressed in elections. A referendum to defend Republika Srpska and its institutions is the simplest way to confirm the will of the Serb people to have our lawful institutions respected, to have Republika Srpska respected, and to have the sacrifices made for our homeland respected," Graorac told SRNA.

She stated that putting the President of Republika Srpska on trial means putting on trial all those who legally elected their representatives, stressing that unity and togetherness are therefore necessary.

"We must all stand in defense of Republika Srpska. Yesterday they put the President of Republika Srpska on trial; tomorrow it will be all of us, because we are defending what is not to be gambled with, the decisions made in our institutions. If we allow others today to determine what we will do and how we will do it, tomorrow we will no longer be here," Graorac warned.

Following the ruling of the unconstitutional Court of BiH against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, a referendum is expected to be held in Republika Srpska based on a decision of the National Assembly of Srpska.
