BANJA LUKA, JULY 21 /SRNA/ – The Republic Public Prosecutor's Office should initiate proceedings against Christian Schmidt, who commits a criminal offense every month, Banja Luka lawyer Slobodan Perić told SRNA.
If the Republic Prosecutor's Office were to issue a warrant for Schmidt, Perić explained that his movement would be restricted in that situation, and he believes that all persecution against Republika Srpska and its high officials would stop.
"Schmidt has no immunity to, in the `Vijadukt` case, `loot,` to order that money originating from a criminal offense be paid to some offshore company," Perić emphasized, adding that it would be sufficient to open an investigation against Schmidt in Republika Srpska.
He reminded that the Law on Domestic Payment Transactions does not allow the payment of such funds, stressing that the Court must not issue a ruling ordering those funds to be paid abroad.
"An enforcement ruling must be in favor of a domestic account and domestic currency," Perić explained.
He stated that part of the international community, together with Bosniak officials from Sarajevo, had a plan to deliver the final blow to Serbs by arresting the wartime leadership of the Serbs in BiH.
"The trials of Serbs and officials of Republika Srpska after the war aimed to expel Serbs from BiH," said Perić, who was a minister in the former Republic of Srpska Krajina.
According to him, the planned final blow at this time was to arrest officials of Republika Srpska, but they were surprised by the strong resistance of the Serbs and their leadership.
On July 17, Christian Schmidt imposed a decision in the case of the Slovenian company Vijadukt which envisages taking money from excise funds from the single account, from the part belonging to Srpska, as well as a decision that the Central Bank of BiH secure funds for new technologies in the election process.
