ORBÁN IS FRIEND, HE SPEAKS ON BEHALF OF SRPSKA TOO

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 12 /SRNA/ – SNSD President Milorad Dodik said he expects Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his party to win the elections in April, stressing that Orbán is a friend of Republika Srpska and a political ally who shares similar views.

Dodik emphasized that Orbán pursues a reasonable policy when speaking about the concept of sovereign nations and states, assessing that in doing so he also speaks on behalf of Republika Srpska.

"When Orbán says that the EU is pushing for war with Russia, that it has weaknesses and should abandon such a course, he is speaking on our behalf. When he calls for the removal of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, he is speaking on our behalf. Orbán is our friend, therefore a political ally, and we wish him all the best," Dodik said.

Speaking to reporters in Banja Luka, Dodik said he is not surprised that politicians in Sarajevo are hoping for his defeat, as well as for the departure of US President Donald Trump, in order to continue operating as they did until just a year ago.

He recalled that politicians in Sarajevo openly supported and organized rallies, adding that decisions are made through frameworks rather than institutions, despite claims to the contrary.
