OLD BUILDINGS IN NEW LIGHT

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 6 /SRNA/ – A large number of buildings in Kninska Street in Banja Luka have regained their former splendour following the replacement of their old, grey facades.

The renovation and refurbishment of old and deteriorating facades on buildings in this street, located opposite Petar Kočić Park, is well underway.

Many of the buildings have already been restored to their full glory, making for a pleasant sight.

One passer-by told SRNA that the once-grey and dilapidated facades are now shining in their full splendour, bringing their architectural harmony to the fore.

"This should have been done much earlier. It is now clear that the old buildings are architecturally and in many other respects more beautiful than the modern, newly constructed ones we see everywhere," the satisfied passer-by said.

SRNA has sent questions to the relevant departments of the Banja Luka City Administration regarding this year's financial investment and allocations for facade renovations in the city on the Vrbas River, as well as the most current and priority projects in this area.
