MUSLIM MONSTERS TORTURED CHILDREN AS WELL

I was shocked when I saw my sister and brother-in-law – Jela and Miladin Višnjić – among the corpses. At that moment, I had the feeling that they were particularly tortured, and Vasika Mićević confirmed this to me. When I saw my sister, my heart turned to stone, it wanted to burst. A large knife wound on her neck, several wounds on her stomach through which her intestines and liver fell out... Miladin's brother-in-law had his throat pierced with a knife, but he was not slaughtered in the classic way, they left him to suffer longer.

FOČA, AUGUST 1 /SRNA/ - Medical technician Slavko Đorđević testified about the cruelty of the crimes in the hamlet of Hodžići, stating that Muslims raped mothers in front of their own children, then slaughtered them, and mutilated the corpses.

Đorđević states that on the fateful December 19, 1992, he inspected his slaughtered and massacred neighbors from Jošanica.

"I was working at the time in the surgical department of the Clinical Hospital Centre /CHC/ in Foča. Before noon I learned that Jošanica had been attacked by Muslims. They started dragging the killed to the morgue. It was full, the scene was horrific. Those brought in looked very bad, because it was difficult to recognize people so horribly disfigured. They were all massacred – there were many slaughtered, burned, with severed hands, severed heads, broken skulls.

What can I say without tears flowing? When they load about 60 mutilated corpses onto a truck and unload them, and they look the way that even their own mothers would not recognize them - it is a scene of horror and terror.

I was shocked when I saw my sister and brother-in-law - Jela and Miladin Višnjić - among the dead. At that moment, I had the feeling that they were particularly tortured, and Vasika Mićević confirmed this to me. When I saw my sister, my heart turned to stone, it wanted to burst. She had a large knife wound on her neck, several wounds on her stomach through which her intestines and liver fell out," Đorđević said.

The brother-in-law Miladin, Đorđević continues, had his throat slashed with a knife, but he wasn't slaughtered in the classic way; they left him to suffer longer.

"His forehead was pierced; his feet and hands were broken by a gunstock. His hands were tied with wire. His legs from feet to hips were cut lengthwise in several places. They said, Vasika told me, this man must not die easily, this is Slavko Đorđević's son-in-law.

"The rest were all killed with weapons, knives and blunt objects. In the house of Vukadin Višnjić, nine of them, all killed with knives and blunt objects. Previously, they were all tightly bound with wire. When they were all killed, they urinated on the tables, on the food, laughed, and made faces, performing their freakish, wild ritual," Slavko said.

He also recounted the tragic fate of Vukadin Višnjić's family:

"That day, the tragedy of his family and the family of his son, and my son-in-law Miladin, was not completed. They also caught Miladin's son, and my nephew, Milomir, in front of the house. They tortured him to a horrible death. Poor Milomir, from the shock he had endured, over the course of several years, in a total nervous breakdown, threw himself into the Drina River.

Among the massacred were children. The skull of the girl Dragana /Dragoljub/ Višnjić, born in 1982, was completely shattered, with half of her brain falling out. Several of the killed were charred - set on fire in their homes," Slavko said.

There is an interesting detail that author Velimir Đurović brought up in the book "Lies, Hate, Crime - That's Bosnia," referring to the story of Vasika Mićević.

Vasika Mićević and his wife Mara were stopped in front of the doorstep of Vukadin Višnjić's house. Some of the Muslims wanted to immediately put a knife to their throats, but one of them stopped them, gesturing with his hands, repelling them. The Mićević couple were not aware of what he was saying and that he was defending them, nor did they recognize him.

They were paralyzed with fear, watching the horrific scene in Vukadin Višnić's house. They saw Zorka being raped in front of her daughter Dragana, and then both of them and another man /Dražen/ being slaughtered.

A Muslim warrior approached the Mićević family and defended them from being slaughtered, saying: "Vasika, for the sake of my late father, to whom you have been kind, I am letting you and Mara go. Run!" Vasika testified that he and Mara stumbled to the stream that flows by the village and hid in a bush.

"I think that Muslim is a certain Čavrk whose father I saved from starvation after World War II. Namely, I was in charge of buying walnut stumps. He asked me to take him with me to work, he has children, they have nothing to eat. I did it, and that's what saved my life. I assume it was his son or grandson, but I'm not sure," said Vasika. /to be continued/
