As we were walking, I saw my commander cutting off the head of one of the killed Serbs and gouging out the eyes of another. During the retreat towards Goražde, the commander took an older woman, a younger woman and a child of two and a half, three years old, who were then killed. Although we took them to Goražde, he ordered them to be killed there, Mehović said.

FOČA, AUGUST 3 /SRNA/ - In an attack by Muslim thugs and monsters on Jošanica on St. Nicholas Day in 1992, several generations of the Višnjić family were killed within an hour.
Witnesses stated that the entire family was killed: spouses Vukadin and Zorka, sons Mićo and Dragoljub and his wife Olga, as well as their two children Dražen and Dragana Višnjić.
A similar tragedy befell the family of Stojka Višnjić. She, her daughter-in-law Goja, Goja's son Vlatko and daughters Ranka and Zoranka, as well as Zoranka's daughter, Danka Tanović, were killed.
According to the statement of witness Mlađen Kulić, who lived in the village of Brajkovići, on December 19, 1992, after hearing gunshots at around 6:45 a.m., the locals headed towards the Jošanica River and reached a place called Luka.
Slavojka, Stana and Risto Kulić remained by the river, while Kulić went deeper into the forest, where he met a group of his villagers, including Dragan, the wounded Mićo, and Dražen Višnjić who were hiding, and then his daughter Olga and granddaughter Dragana. Mlađen suggested that they head towards the Prelići Hill, but the Muslims heard them and soon surrounded the entire group. They killed 21 villagers on the spot.
The sole survivor was Mlađen Kulić, thanks to his knowledge of the terrain, and, according to him, the following were killed there: Olga, Dragana, Dragan, Mićo, Vlatko, Ranka, Zora, Goja and Stojka Višnjić, Marko, Stana and Vukosava Grujičić, Mića Škipina, Danica, Branko, Milosav and Novica Davidović and Danka Tanović. A little further down from that spot, Slavojka, Risto and Stana Kulić were killed.
Ibro Mehović also spoke about the murder of Serbian civilians near the river in Jošanica, stating that around 30 Serbian civilians were killed at that location, and Šaban Kurtović, who said that 20 to 30 locals were killed in the stream, whose bodies were massacred.
He said that they took food from the houses and burned them on the orders of the commander. After the massacre, they headed towards Goražde.
