MINIĆ: COOPERATION WITH LOBBYING FIRMS IS UNQUESTIONABLE - WE ARE WORKING TO PROMOTE TRUTH ABOUT SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 9 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said that Srpska has contracts with lobbying firms in the United States, where such firms operate legally, and that cooperation with them cannot be considered questionable, as its purpose is to promote the truth about Republika Srpska and advocate for fairness.

"Yes, we have a contract. What is the problem? We did not want to do it the way /Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers/ Elmedin Konaković did, by washing windows for $350,000 or making something up," Minić told reporters in Banja Luka.

He stressed that the truth about Republika Srpska needed to be heard.

"There is nothing questionable about it. The contract is classified," Minić said.

He added that the contract with lobbying firms in the United States had now become an obstacle because of the political debacle in the Federation of BiH and the geopolitical loss of everything that political Sarajevo had stood to gain.

"Everything here is as clear as day. As long as we are the 'bad guys', as long as we are sanctioned, do not defend ourselves and take the blows, everything is fine. The moment we come forward with the truth and present it in Manhattan, New York, find friends and say that all we want is fairness, then it becomes a problem," Minić said.

He added that Republika Srpska was working on all fronts and at every level.
