BANJA LUKA, MARCH 27 /SRNA/ - Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of Republika Srpska Draga Mastilović told SRNA that the Resolution condemning and banning the promotion and glorification of the Independent State of Croatia /NDH/ and Ustasha, Nazi, and fascist ideologies and symbols was necessary because, for the first time, such a document defined what constitutes genocide and identified its perpetrators.
Mastilović emphasized that the significance of the Resolution also lies in the fact that its adoption united Serb MPs.
"I was very proud because we united the Serb MPs. We realized that, on the most important national issues, Serbian unity is possible. That made us happy," Mastilović said in the SRNA podcast.
He emphasized that the Russian Federation is one of the strategic partners when it comes to higher education, and that he encourages the possibility of cooperation with the company Rostec with the aim of training young professionals.
"They have the opportunity to study in Russia at Rostec's expense, but with the obligation that the students return to us to form the nucleus of the future scientific and technological development of Republika Srpska," Mastilović stated.
In the new episode of the SRNA podcast, Minister Mastilović also talks about investment in higher education, the high recognition he received in the Russian Federation, and strategic plans regarding scientific and technological development.
