SIXTH PERSON DIES AFTER SHOOTING NEAR HAMBURG

HAMBURG, JUNE 29 /SRNA/ - The sixth person has died in hospital after a shooting at a youth care centre west of Hamburg, German police said.

It is currently not known how old the sixth victim was, the DPA news agency reported.

"The main suspect has been arrested, and two other people are under police investigation following the shooting in the city of Stade," police said.

A police spokesperson said that among several injured persons, there are some in critical condition.

A press conference by the police, the public prosecutor’s office, municipal authorities, and the Interior Minister of Lower Saxony, Daniela Behrens, is scheduled for this evening.

It was previously reported that among the five people who died at the scene were four adult women and one man.
