BANJA LUKA, MAY 21 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska National Assembly adopted, under urgent procedure, the Law on the Financing of Political Organizations, which stipulates that these organizations may be funded, among other sources, through membership fees, voluntary contributions from legal and natural persons, and publishing activities.
The law also defines that political organizations may be financed through the sale of promotional materials, the organization of their events, income from property owned by political organizations, and profits from business entities under their ownership.
Out of 59 members of parliament present, 48 voted for the law, 11 were against, and none abstained.
At the proposal of the Republika Srpska President, the National Assembly appointed Jovo Radukić as Acting Chief Auditor of the Supreme Office for Public Sector Auditing of Republika Srpska and appointed Božana Trninić as his deputy.
They will perform these duties until the completion of the procedure for selecting the Chief Auditor.
After the vote on the addressed items on the agenda, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Nenad Stevandić, concluded the 22nd special session.
