BUDAPEST, JANUARY 31 /SRNA/ – Head of the Self-Government of Serbs in Hungary, Jovanka Lastić, says that SNSD leader Milorad Dodik has, over the past 20 years, provided support to the Serb community in Hungary through numerous activities, emphasizing that it was an honour for her that Dodik attended this evening’s Saint Sava official ceremony in Budapest.

"Today we had the exceptional honour of having President Milorad Dodik attend our Saint Sava celebration. He honoured us by accepting our decoration for all the activities over the past 15 to 20 years that we have carried out together or in cooperation," Lastić told the press in Budapest after the Saint Sava official ceremony.

She expressed special gratitude for Dodik’s support to the Serb Educational Centre "Nikola Tesla" in Budapest.

"We received concrete assistance - financial, moral, ethical, in every respect. This is only a small part of what we can do to show our gratitude to the president," Lastić said.

This evening, at the Saint Sava official ceremony held in Budapest, SNSD leader Milorad Dodik was awarded the Order of the Self-Government of Serbs in Hungary for merits to the Serb people, in recognition of his decades-long selfless assistance and support to the Serb community in Hungary.
