LACAPELLE: SERB PEOPLE’S FIGHTING MODEL - EXAMPLE OF HOW PATRIOTS FIGHT FOR THEIR COUNTRY

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 11 /SRNA/ – French MEP Jean-Lin Lacapelle stresses that the model of Republika Srpska and the struggle of the Serb people for their republic would be a good example for entire Europe, showing how patriots fight for their country.

He emphasized that January 9, 1992, is an important date because it marks the beginning of the Serb people's fight for their independence, despite various challenges and aggression, and their efforts to preserve their tradition and culture in these areas.

Lacapelle assessed that the Dayton Peace Agreement is not being respected in BiH, which is causing a crisis in the country, adding that this is a major problem. He also pointed out that the imposed "High Representative," Christian Schmidt, who is neither appointed nor legitimate, has created a crisis by introducing and amending laws.

Lacapelle says that his party, the National Rally, respects the territorial sovereignty of every country and supports Milorad Dodik in resisting aggression, maintaining the independence of Republika Srpska, and staying on the European path while preserving territorial sovereignty.

"Every nation has the right to decide its own destiny and defend its freedom," he emphasized.

Commenting on the judgment against Dodik for not respecting Schmidt’s decisions, Lacapelle described it as scandalous and a violation of all rights, reminding that Dodik was convicted for not following the decisions of a man who was neither appointed nor had the legitimacy to act in BiH.

Regarding snap elections in Republika Srpska, Lacapelle noted that this represents a dangerous sign for sovereignty and national unity, expressing hope that the situation would be resolved.

"We always support those who fight for the sovereignty and unity of the Serb people. We must cooperate, all European nations, to maintain our European identity and our freedom. Everyone is suffering due to the current situation, and I hope for a solution through our cooperation," Lacapelle told RTRS.

He points out that Europe today faces a great and serious crisis, and the task of patriotic forces is to protect their people and nation.
