BANJA LUKA, APRIL 2 /SRNA/ - International relations expert Luciano Kaluža told SRNA that the meeting between the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and Russian President Vladimir Putin is a sign of appreciation, friendly relations and exceptional respect for Republika Srpska by the Russian Federation.
Kaluža has stated that the Russian Federation fully understanding the relations in BiH and supporting the actions of Republika Srpska is very important.
"The Russian Federation plays an extremely strong and large global geostrategic and geopolitical role. It is now confirmed that the Russian Federation is in the ranks of the largest countries, such as China and the USA, therefore its role as a support and partner is already immeasurable in the future developments of both mutual relations and the role of Srpska in its international representation", pointed out Kaluža.
He said that the meetings held by Dodik, although they were not previously planned, proved in extraordinary circumstances there are great and respected allies - Israel, Hungary, the Russian Federation, but also other countries that express their readiness to support the Srpska institutions.
Kaluža has pointed out that the extremely strong diplomatic activity of the representatives of the Republika Srpska institutions, primarily Dodik and the Serb Member and chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, is noticeable.
"International representation should be a strategic commitment of Republika Srpska; those two institutions really exercise exceptional professionalism in representing the positive interests of Republika Srpska," Kaluža said.
