JUDGMENT AGAINST SRPSKA PRESIDENT MUST BE REJECTED IN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AND ALL LOCAL PARLIAMENTS

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 1 /SRNA/ – SNSD Deputy Leader Miroslav Bojić has stated today that the shameful, unlawful, and unconstitutional convicting judgment against BiH Court’s Republika Srpska president must be rejected by the National Assembly and all city and municipal parliaments in Srpska.

Bojić told SRNA the confirmation of the first-instance judgment against President Milorad Dodik represents the greatest blow to Republika Srpska since the war.

"We must not allow illegal internationals to impose solutions and destroy Republic that was built with great sacrifice, as tomorrow, any Serb could find themselves in the same position as Milorad Dodik," Bojić warned.

He also believes that extraordinary elections should not be held.

"We again call on the opposition to come together and take a stand like the PDP did today, not to participate in such elections, thereby protecting the dignity of all voters in Republika Srpska," Bojić stated.

The Appellate Division of the Court of BiH confirmed the first-instance judgment sentencing Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik to one year in prison and a six-year ban on political activity, for "disrespecting the decisions of Christian Schmidt."
