LAKTAŠI, APRIL 27 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said today that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is right when he says that Srpska is under attack, and that it is being attacked by idiots like Denis Bećirović and an ideology aimed at destroying the Dayton Agreement.

"Of course, Republika Srpska is under attack, very much so, but we will know how to defend ourselves from people like Bećirović," Dodik told reporters in Laktaši.

Dodik emphasized that the fact is being ignored that a foreigner with no authority is intervening in the constitutional order, and that the Muslims in BiH are accepting this as if it were a norm adopted through parliamentary procedure.

Instead of remaining silent and showing solidarity on this day, Dodik said, one must be a political and human idiot to pour salt into the deep wounds of the Serbian people on a day when we are marking the suffering of more than 500,000 Serbs in Jasenovac - one of the worst crimes of the last century.

"A significant number of his fellow Muslims committed crimes in Jasenovac, as they were part of the so-called 'Croatian Ustasha flowers,' and one of them, serving in the Handžar Division, was Alija Izetbegović. How are we supposed to live together in BiH with idiots like Bećirović? Of course, it is impossible," Dodik said categorically.

He reiterated that Vučić was right and that Bećirović represents only one-third of BiH.

"He is not BiH and cannot speak on its behalf. He could have said, 'As the Bosniak member of the Presidency, I have my own opinion,' but he speaks in the name of BiH, which is not true because 49 percent of BiH belongs to Republika Srpska," Dodik said.

If the pressure on Republika Srpska continues, Dodik said that it has its path and that it strengthens its sovereignty and independence with each passing day.

After Vučić said that Republika Srpska had been attacked today, Bećirović responded by claiming that the president of Serbia is "completely unauthorized to speak about any attack on BiH or any part of it."
