INVESTIGATION INTO REPORT OF EXTREMIST THREATS UNDERWAY

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 28 /SRNA/ – Police officers of the Republika Srpska Interior Ministry are acting on a report concerning threats of an extremist nature the Republika Srpska National Assembly has received today.

The duty prosecutor of the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor’s Office was informed of the matter, and an on-site investigation was carried out on the prosecutor’s order, the Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior said in a statement.

Further measures and investigative actions are being undertaken under the supervision of the competent prosecutor, who has not yet legally classified the incident.

Threatening messages calling for jihad, the mutilation of baptised children and the killing of baptised citizens were received today at the registry office of the Republika Srpska National Assembly.
