INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OFFICE TO ENABLE SRPSKA TO PRESENT ITS INTERESTS ABROAD

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 6 /SRNA/ - With the establishment of the Office for International Cooperation, Republika Srpska will be able to coordinate its foreign policy activities and present its interests and position, international relations professor Željko Budimir said.

Budimir told reporters in Banja Luka that Srpska is in a difficult position regarding foreign policy because Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković is constantly misusing his position.

"The opening of the Office is very important because we will be able to express our position, which is impossible through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers. Konaković has misused every possible opportunity and official trip to present Republika Srpska in a negative light," Budimir reminded.

He added that Konaković is someone who consistently advocates the unitarization and centralization of BiH
