HEAVY SILENCE EVOKES PAIN FOR ALL INNOCENT VICTIMS

KOZARSKA DUBICA, APRIL 27 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction, and Ecology of Republika Srpska, Bojan Vipotnik, told SRNA that every visit to Donja Gradina and the heavy silence that echoes awakens the pain for all the innocent victims of the Ustasha-run camps of Jasenovac and Stara Gradiška.

"Remembering the victims of Jasenovac and all the victims of fascism is our sacred duty, a vow that we must pass on to the generations that come after us," Vipotnik emphasized.

He said in Donja Gradina, where respect is paid in a commemorative and prayerful manner to those who perished in the Jasenovac and Stara Gradiška camps, that the cries of the innocent victims of human madness and disgrace, which still echo in the silent stillness beneath the Poplar of Horror, serve as a warning that such a tragedy must never be repeated anywhere, to anyone.
