DODIK CONGRATULATED SERBIAN CADET TEAM ON SILVER AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

BANJA LUKA, JULY 6 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik congratulated the Serbian cadet basketball team on winning the silver medal at the World Championship, stressing that they showed character, talent, and the heart of true champions.

"TThis silver medal is not just a medal. It is proof that Serbia has generations coming up who know how to proudly wear their country's coat of arms and who will continue the glorious tradition of Serbian basketball," Dodik said.

He added that Republika Srpska rejoices in every success of Serbia, because the achievements of its youth give confidence that the Serbian people will continue to have champions to be proud of in the future.

"As for the opponents in the final, you will get them back as seniors," Dodik wrote on X.

The Serbian cadet basketball team won the silver medal at the World Championship in Istanbul, after losing in last night's final to the United States 107–81.
