SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ – Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the bIh Parliamentary Assembly, Sanja Vulić, expressed great gratitude to Russia and its officials for their support to the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and to the Serb people, as well as for reaffirmed guarantees of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
"Great gratitude to our imperial Moscow, bearing in mind that they always stand by the Serb people and Republika Srpska," Vulić told SRNA.
She noted that Russia's support is even more important when it is known that persecution of the Serb people and dismantling of Dayton are evident on the political scene in BiH.
"I am very happy that President Dodik visited Moscow and that we received support, that is, a guarantee for the Dayton Peace Agreement," said Vulić, stressing that the original Dayton Peace Agreement is absolutely acceptable to all peoples living in BiH.
According to her, the situation in BiH is such that the original Dayton has been absolutely dismantled and is in a stage of collapse.
"And as a consequence, we have persecution of the Serb people and the deprivation of the Serb people's right to elect their legitimate president. We have a situation where legislative bodies are annulled, where the Parliamentary Assembly has not adopted a law, yet under an imaginary, non-existent law, someone takes away the mandate of the President of Republika Srpska," Vulić stated.
She noted that these are all absurdities of BiH which make discussions about survival and the future in this area and within these frameworks impossible.
"We have always been those who want good and equality for all peoples; however, when you attack us and when you try to eliminate and persecute us from these areas, we have no other option but to fight," Vulić said.
She expressed gratitude to the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and to Russia as a whole for the support shown to the Serb people and Republika Srpska.
"Heartfelt thanks to Russia, which has wholeheartedly stood by Republika Srpska and which will certainly help us fight for what is called justice and what is called the Dayton Agreement, and not some imaginary spirit of Dayton," Vulić said.
