TEHRAN CARRIES OUT DRONE ATTACK ON BAHRAIN

DOHA, JUNE 27 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ – Iranian forces attacked targets in Bahrain with drones, Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The ministry added that Iran bears responsibility for undermining peace initiatives.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the attack on the territory of Bahrain, carried out at dawn today using several Iranian drones," reads the statement broadcasted by Bahrain's state news agency.

The U.S. Central Command confirmed yesterday that it had carried out strikes against Iran in response to an attack on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

Following that, the Iranian military launched strikes against several U.S. military facilities in the Middle East.
