GOLIJANIN: IDEAL CONDITIONS FOR BOTH WINTER AND SUMMER TOURISM

TRNOVO, SEPTEMBER 2 /SRNA/ - The municipality of Trnovo is an ideal tourist destination at the foot of the Jahorina, Bjelašnica and Treskavica mountains, which gives it huge possibilities for more intensive development of summer, but also winter tourism, and that is precisely the development plan of the municipal administration, Vladan Golijanin, head of the Trnovo Tourist Organization, told SRNA.

According to him, the winter season will have its accent on the Trnovo part of Jahorina, where a modern six-seater is already in operation, which confirms the fact that this Olympic beauty is a kind of tourist pearl, not only in a tourist sense, but also in an economic sense.

He also announces the construction of bicycle paths, and reminds of the exceptionally good conditions for organizing fly fishing, which every year attracts great attention from fishermen from all over the world.

Golijanin stated that both the Tourist Organization and the local government of Trnovo devote a lot of attention to organizing sports, cultural and gastronomic events to promote healthy living and youth activism.

He said that the most expensive square meter for construction is currently on Jahorina, and that the price is around 4,000 KM and higher.

"We can be proud of that. This is impressive data and I can say with certainty that in the coming period there will be new serious investments on Jahorina, and that will attract a much larger number of tourists," said Golijanin.

He pointed out that there are two mountain lodges on Treskavica, and the Željeznica River and its banks are ideal for rest, recreation, and fishing.
