GOGANOVIĆ: INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION TO DODIK CONFIRMS SRPSKA POLICY'S STRENGTH

SARAJEVO, MAY 1 /SRNA/ – Deputy Minister of Defence in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović told SRNA that President Milorad Dodik's international activities represent a clear confirmation of the political strength and international legitimacy of Republika Srpska.

Speaking about the award in Chicago, Goganović emphasized that it is a recognition that has over the years been awarded to world leaders and influential political figures, and that its presentation to President Dodik carries particular political weight.

"This is not only a personal recognition, but a strong message that Republika Srpska has its place in the international arena and that its positions resonate beyond the borders of BiH," Goganović stressed.

He states that Dodik consistently pursues a policy of protecting the constitutional position of Republika Srpska and its right to autonomous decision-making within the framework of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

"In a time of numerous pressures, such recognitions further confirm the correctness of the policy led by President Dodik and strengthen the position of Republika Srpska in international relations," he added.

Goganović concluded that the Republika Srpska institutions will continue to act decisively and responsibly, protecting its interests and political capacity both locally and internationally.
