BANJA LUKA, JUNE 16 /SRNA/ - Members of the Working Group for Regional Cooperation between Republika Srpska and Russia held their first meeting today in Banja Luka, where they discussed cooperation in many areas, including trade, the economy, energy, higher education, and healthcare.
The meeting also addressed cooperation in the fields of standardization, metrology, agriculture, environmental protection, culture, and science, according to a statement from the Ministry for European Integration and International Cooperation.
The meeting of the Working Group, operating within the framework of the Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation between BiH and the Russian Federation, was held at the seat of the Government of Republika Srpska and was also attended by the Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation of Republika Srpska, Zlatan Klokić.
The participants agreed that the Working Group would meet every three months to monitor the implementation of agreed activities and further enhance cooperation between Republika Srpska and the Russian Federation in areas of mutual interest.
