MUSK: XI IS GREAT LEADER; CHINA HAS MADE GREAT PROGRESS UNDER HIS LEADERSHIP

BEIJING, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA/ – Tesla CEO Elon Musk praised Chinese President Xi Jinping as a great leader, saying that China has made significant progress since he has taken the office.

Musk said that this progress can be seen in new buildings and infrastructure.

"It is also obvious, simply by walking through the streets, to see the increased prosperity of the average Chinese citizen," Musk said in an interview with China’s state television network CCTV.

Speaking about Tesla’s largest manufacturing facility in Shanghai, Musk says it employs an incredibly talented, hardworking, and reliable team.

"Tesla’s Shanghai factory is a gem," Musk said.

Xi is expected to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump tomorrow for the second this year’s summit of the leaders of the world’s two largest economies, Reuters reports.
