BANJA LUKA, MAY 28 /SRNA/ - The first European Summit on Economy and Security, organized by the Gold Institute for International Strategy, concluded this evening in Banja Luka after gathering more than 100 participants from over 20 countries.
The closing address, titled “The Road Ahead,” was delivered by Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić.
One of the main goals of the event was to present Republika Srpska as a venue for international dialogue.
The summit brought together senior representatives of Republika Srpska institutions and officials from other countries, as well as figures from the business, security, diplomatic and political sectors.
Among those attending was Gold Institute Chairman Michael Flynn, retired US general and former national security adviser to Donald Trump, as well as officials from Serbia.
Opening remarks were delivered by Acting Director of the Republika Srpska Office for International Cooperation Ana Trišić-Babić and Gold Institute for International Cooperation President Eli Gold.
The summit featured numerous presentations, panels and focused discussions on topics including the development of European and transatlantic security architecture and its implications for the Balkans.
Participants also discussed economic resilience, regional integration and investment opportunities in Balkan economies, as well as the role of democratic institutions, governance and the rule of law in supporting security and economic growth.
