BANJA LUKA, MAY 28 /SRNA/ - The Acting Director of the Republika Srpska Office for International Cooperation Ana Trišić-Babić said that the names of participants at the European Summit on Economy and Security in Banja Luka show that Republika Srpska is no longer a place others decide about, but a place with which others engage in dialogue.
"Several months ago in Washington, President Milorad Dodik initiated discussions on the idea of Banja Luka becoming a place where people with the courage to think freely and strategically would gather. That idea has now become reality", Trišić-Babić wrote on the social network X.
She stressed that she is proud Republika Srpska is hosting people who believe the world cannot be built through pressure and imposition, but through dialogue, respect and cooperation.
"Thanks to the Gold Institute, Banja Luka today brought together General Michael Flynn, journalist Lara Logan, George Papadopoulos, European parliamentarians, security experts and figures from the political and business communities of the United States and Europe. This shows that Republika Srpska is no longer a place others decide about, but a place with which they engage in dialogue", Babić stressed.
The first European Summit on Economy and Security, organized by the Gold Institute for International Strategy, is being held today in Banja Luka, gathering more than 100 participants from over 20 countries.
